Exploring automation & agents through micro frontends and small, focused tools.
Smartzig is where I tinker with systems that save time and mental load — at work and in daily life. Clear tools, honest UX, and room to enjoy the craft of building.
What lives in the lab
Each item is an experiment or utility I use — tight scope, independent pieces, no bloat.
People Ops
Organize team notes, track growth paths, and manage 1:1 meetings with clarity.
Home Flow
Domestic routines, task organization, and household management made simple.
Project Pulse
Track initiatives, capture ideas, and prioritize what matters most.
Writing Assistant
Draft, refine, and polish communication with AI-powered suggestions.
Principles
What guides what I build here.
People first
Developing others matters as much as shipping. I push for clarity, fair expectations, and a pace people can sustain — hard problems are easier when the team is still engaged.
Simple systems
Fewer moving parts, clearer ownership, faster learning. Modularity lets me explore ideas without turning the lab into a tangle.
Automation with judgment
Agents and scripts remove toil and handoffs so there is more room for decisions that matter — professionally and personally.
Joy in the craft
Serious work does not have to feel heavy. I like building, tinkering, and learning — especially when the result makes life a little lighter.
Featured project
Something from the lab that is getting extra attention right now.
Purrfect Storm
Brotato-inspired roguelike survival: heroic cats, waves of enemies, and room for narrative. Built in Godot 4 — open game/project.godot in the editor. The monorepo includes a GitBook wiki, ClickUp automation, and a Python sprite pipeline under sprite_tool/ for game-ready assets.
Latest Update
Active iteration targeting Godot 4.4; gameplay on terrains/level_01.tscn; docs on GitBook; README documents folders game/, wiki/, clickup/, and sprite_tool/.

How the Smartzig Tools architecture was chosen
Why this lab runs as one Next.js host, Firebase Hosting in front of Cloud Run, localized routes, and a monorepo — without pretending every problem is a micro-frontend.
Vibe coding: risks, and how this lab mitigates them
Fast AI-assisted iteration is powerful; without guardrails it erodes tests, security, and ownership. Here is how this repo keeps velocity without surrendering discipline.
Professional identity online: portfolio, presence, and backlinks
How you show up in search and in hiring loops is partly under your control. Practical moves: own a canonical site, align profiles, and earn links that point to your name with context.
